About Part Wolf
Part Wolf is more than just a bar – it’s a place for creating and celebrating.
Located on Minneapolis’s historic West Bank, Part Wolf is committed to providing safe space for all walks of life to enjoy music, art and culture. Each month, Part Wolf’s calendar lists events as diverse as the neighborhood around us: weekly bocce leagues, craft beer releases, fútbol watch parties, local rap showcases, bluegrass nights, LGBTQIA dance parties, and so much more.
The building at 501 Cedar Avenue has been a haven for musicians and artists alike for decades. Once home to celebrated venues like the Five Corners Saloon and Nomad World Pub, Part Wolf is committed to continuing the tradition of supporting the local arts and music scene. We prioritize booking local bands from all genres at Part Wolf so that everyone can share in the joy that is live, local music – and we give local bands 100% of the door charge.
Our bar features two outdoor patios, an outdoor fireplace, a food truck, two regulation-size bocce courts, and ample screens to watch your favorite sporting event. Upstairs, we have an open event space that is available to rent for private parties.
Part Wolf is easily accessible via car, bike, public transportation or foot. Plus, our patio is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your four-legged friend and enjoy some sunshine and beverages.
We hope that you’ll join us at Part Wolf!
Like most Wisconsinites, Josh has been around bars his whole life. As part-owner of Amsterdam Bar & Hall in St. Paul and the Sheridan Room in Northeast Minneapolis, Josh has made it his mission to offer good drinks, good music, and good food to the Twin Cities community. When he’s not at Part Wolf, you can probably find him strolling around Northeast Minneapolis with his and Lyssa’s adorable kid Archer and their giant dog Simone, or watching whatever Wisconsin sports team is in season.
